Finding the Best Sources for Wholesale Perfume Oil and Essential Oil
Whether you are getting into aromatherapy on a professional level or only as an amateur, one of the best and kindest things you can do for yourself is find a good source for wholesale perfume oil and wholesale essential oils. Anyone who has ever worked with aromatherapy knows that even in small amounts, buying oils a little at a time can be *expensive*. Wholesale perfume oil and essential oil are definitely the way to go *if* you plan on using aromatherapy on any sort of regular basis.
Be aware, however, that even though these wholesale perfume oil types have a rather long shelf life compared to other herbs or even other dry goods, they still won't last forever. If you're only going to use one bottle every couple of years, wholesale perfume oil and essential oil will be more expensive than they're worth. Regardless of how much or how little you use, it's important that you find a distributor who can provide the amount you need at the best possible price. Finding a store that will sell to you at 50% of the retail price won't do you any good if you have to buy two hundred bottles and you only use five or six, or if you have to buy a thousand bottles and you only use two hundred. The key, of course, is to make sure that you get the price AND the amount that's right for you, and this applies to budding professionals hoping to start their own retail or aromatherapy business as well as amateurs who use aromatherapy frequently and are looking for a more affordable option.
For this reason, brick and mortar stores can sometimes be better places to purchase than mail order or Internet stores, even if they are on the level, because there's more personal interaction with the brick and mortar store; you have a chance to establish a relationship, and it's possible that the owner or manager may be willing to work with you to get you what you need.
Also, don't discount the idea of spreading your purchase over several different kinds of wholesale perfume oil or essential oil. If you only need five bottles of Rosewood, for example, but fifteen bottles of Lavendar, well, that's twenty bottles regardless of how it divides up. Find a store that will treat it as such.
