Is Discount Perfume Online Worth the Price?

The Internet is a remarkable thing. You can find anything you want, anything you need, any time you want, and for almost any price you want. And perfume is no exception. A quick Google search for discount perfume brings up no fewer than ten million, four hundred thousand different hits on 'discount perfume', many of them claiming to be name brands. But there's a problem, and that is simply that you have no way of knowing whether the perfume is, in fact, the brand you're looking for. It's quite possible that you may find a gem online; a brand name at a price so low, it's nothing short of a steal. But the odds are against you. It's much, much more likely that you'll find someone who is all too eager to steal from *you*. In general, online stores are not good places to purchase discount perfume. With brick and mortar stores, you at least have the ability to smell the perfume before you buy; you don't get that luxury with online stores.

However, that isn't to discount the power of the Internet completely. There are stores out in cyberspace that will give you the bargains you want and do it honestly. But no amount of advertising or searching will tell you what you really need to know about the best discount perfume on the web. In fact, in spite of modern technology, the best way to determine where the good buys are is still through word of mouth. Get together with your friends. Tell each other where you got that super-awesome deal, and what the website's service was like. Tell each other when you've been burned. (Shame at having been 'taken in' keeps many people from talking about sites that ripped them off--but talking about them is the single best way to keep it from happening to anyone else.)

And, of course, make sure that your internet bargain really is a bargain. You may be able to find a cheaper, safer purchase at a brick and mortar store. So check there first. But don't discount the internet completely when it comes to discount perfume.
